And I finished my festival films with "Unfinished Stories".
Last night was the world premiere of "Unfinished Stories", an Iranian film written and directed by Pourya Azarbayjani... A very young amateur director whose passion over 4 years resulted in making this film... It was an interesting work, considering the fact that it was his first movie and that he only made the film with the help of friends and his own drive... He was also present at the theatre and was quite excited to see his work screened for the very first time at one of the most well-known festivals in the world.
It was a series of stories about three different women who don't know each other but somehow get related in some way on a cold night in Tehran.
In general, it was a good film, but not one of my festival's favorites and definitely not one of my preferred Iranian films.
I'm done with the festival this year... And I'm thrilled that I got a chance to see some very good films.
